9/10/22 Ultreya

The first Ultrey of the 2022-2023 season was the largest attended in over three years! St. Andrew Catholic Church and Rector, Tracy Mallette, welcomed 60 Community members, including 13 new Cursillistas, five deacons and Father Chuck. All in attendance experienced God's love through Eucharistic Adoration, group sharing, and an encouraging witness talk by Dennis Marquez. Dennis reminisced about his Cursillo weekend and the love he felt from all in attendance. He then spoke about his experience as Rector of Men's Cursillo #62 and how each person on the team had a mission and fulfilled it with joy, love and hope. Deacon Joe O'Connell, wrapped up the event with a spirit-filled reflection and prayer.

The evening progressed for most of the attendees to Schnitzel Haus restaurant, where the fellowship grew, laughs filled the room and bellies were filled with delicious food and beverages. It was a wonderful experience that we all pray would continue throughout the season and beyond.
