Sisters and Brothers, What we have just heard is not simply a personal story—it is a testimony of grace at work, a concrete example of what happens when the Holy Spirit slowly transforms a heart that is open, even imperfectly, to God. At the center of this talk is one reality: conversion. The Catechism [CCC 1432] teaches that ‘Conversion is first of all a work of the grace of God who makes our hearts return to him: "Restore us to thyself, O LORD, that we may be restored!" (La
