10/1/22 Ultreya
Twenty-one Cursillistas gathered for Ultreya at St. Andrew Catholic Church on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Rector Angie Leggio led us in the Holy Spirit prayer prior to the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Joshua Marker, a new Cursillista, spoke about how his Catholic faith has grown since his weekend in July 2022 and how the scriptures came alive to him. His actions have been talking to the animals and studying God's creation. He was a leader at a bible study and reflected in the Beatitudes. He also shared his faith with friends who inquired about Catholic marriage. He didn't know the answers; however, looked it up in the Canon law books and reconnected with his friends to inform them. There were several echoes and a reflection made by Peggy Rowe-Linn that left a question at the end if we were willing to open all our hearts, mind and will for the love of the Father. Joshua's witness talk evangelized he is ready. Are you?
